


Built in 1917, The Belmont was the first apartment building in Alexandria, designed in the Craftsman style of architecture.
The Belmont was acquired by the Batesoles in 1999 and was extensively remodeled, preserving the Craftsman style of the building and its units.
It is currently listed on the National Registry of Historic Buildings. |
The Belmont is centrally located in Alexandria, MN on 6th Avenue West, just 1 1/2 blocks from The Alexson. Acquired by its current owners in 1999, it was extensively remodeled but the classic Craftsman architecture was preserved in tact.
Available at The Belmont are four large two-bedroom units that are unfurnished. Each unit consists of a spacious living room, dining room with built-in hutch with leaded beveled glass doors, kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Utilities are included in the cost of rent except electric and cable TV. Garages with garage door openers are also included in the cost of rent for the two-bedroom units.
